About Me

My name is Daniel Marquez, and I was born in Colombia, where I learned about the beauty of life. I moved to the melting pot of South Florida at the age of nine, where I have grown into the human I am today. My aim in life is to empower humans with technology, and for the past two years at the MIT Media Lab, this focus has evolved into a passion to deliver user-centric solutions for our progressivly digital world.

I am very passionate about cryptocurrencies and accelerating the growth of the cryptoeconomy to enable economic freedom across the globe. I will be graduating from the MIT Media Lab with deep experience as a product manager from crypto projects I did with MIT and the United Nations, as well as running the 6th, 7th, and 8th MIT Bitcoin Expos. Before MIT, I was a software engineer working on scaling remote device management for Telit's IoT platform.
